Friday's Five Favourites

1. Bread bowls/cheesy bread
We like bread. Carbs are delicious and filling. It's basically orgasmic if it is filled with cheese and/or something else. Soup in a bread bowl? YES. Pasta in a bread bowl? Hell yes. 

2. The end of school
The end of term is fast approaching, THANK GOD. Although this means we will be running on coffee, candy, no sleep, and bagels, it also means we are one step closer to being done till January (!!!). We cannot wait to sleep in, enjoy the holidays (k2's favourite time), and spend time with family. The amount of gifts and sweets that the holidays bring are also very welcoming.

3. Soup in front of a fireplace
This goes along with the whole holidays thing. It is cold. We are cold. We have to walk outside all day, so what's better than a nice steaming bowl of hot soup and a warm fire. NOTHING. Well I guess if we had a fireplace, that would be the best thing but, for now the heater will do.

I stumbled upon this tumblr while looking at Fuck Yeah Cats and Food (also a good tumblr) and fell in love. All of the pictures make me feel very happy and materialistic. It's a joyous thing. It's also just very cute and adorable.

5. Snuggies
Some people hate them, some people love them. We love them. They are warm, snuggly, and great for the winter. Who wouldn't want a blanket with sleeves!?

Broken English

Broken English is one my favourite films. It stars Parker Posey as Nora, a somewhat neurotic, 30-something living in New York. She meets a Frenchman and the rest is history. It's romantic and smart without being tiring or too sentimental. Melvil Poupaud, who plays her love interest, is also AMAZING. His accent is to die for and it makes me want to go sit in a little French cafe, write, and sip delicious drinks. sighhhhhhh.

If you enjoy indie films and somewhat dark comedy, I think this is a definite must watch.

Friday's Five Favourites

1. Library Days-
Now that school is starting to come to an end, deadlines are fast approaching. Which means, we are going to be spending lots of time at the library. We had one yesterday and spent 9 hours (!) there. Of course a good library day involves lots of coffee and snacks. 

2. Netflix-
We finally got Netflix Instant and it is amazing. Plus it's way cheaper then renting videos. yay! One of the first things we watched was Human Centipede......kinda sick but kinda amazing.


3. Milk Frother-
We also just obtained one of these and it is the best. We actually have been spending less on coffee too! Nightly london fogs with coconut milk? Yes please.

4. Christmas stuff-
BEST time of year. And there's so many fun things to get: tree, decorations, chocolates...

5. Socks-
various lengths, colours, styles - and they keep your feet warm. they are awesome.  I LOVE THEM.

Friday's Five Favourites

1. Fishbowls -
Triples, in a fishbowl.  It's the best ever.  And for $8!  Not only do you get drunk quite quickly, but you get to drink out of a fishbowl.  It's a win-win.

2. Friendship Bracelets -
Fun to make, fun to wear. So many colours and patterns, it just sucks we can only do the basic patterns...

3. Alice Cooper -
Is it wrong that I (k2) am ridiculously obsessed with Alice Cooper?  It's just so sad that he's not single. (he's also extremely old...jus sayin k2)

4. Homemade McFlurries -
Apparently McDonalds is too expensive for us, so we bought everything you need to make a McFlurry at home.  Rolos, Aero, caramel AND chocolate sauce, and ice cream.  Success. Until we run out....

5. Art Gallery Events -
Tonight is "FUSE", where they have performances, tons of people, and this time they are giving out free headbands.  There's something about a really busy, loud, drunken art gallery that is really entertaining.

Friday's Five Favourites - HALLOWEEN EDITION

1. CANDY!
Halloween obviously involves candy.  And K1's mum sent us a BUNCH of good candy (Swedish Fish, Twizzlers, Mike&Ikes, etc) and we've been on a sugar high for... about a week and a half now.  And we still have a lot left, so this high could last a lot longer.

2. COSTUMES!
We will dress up for anything, so Halloween is a definite favourite of ours. We love being able to look and act ridiculous, and totally get away with it.

3. WAYNE'S WORLD!
We're being Wayne (K1) and Garth (K2) for Halloween.  We've got our flannel, and we've got Bohemian Rhapsody memorized (actually, I think we have about half the movie memorized!).  We're planning on SCHWING-ing everybody for the entire weekend. 

4. DEBAUCHERY!
This weekend we plan to get up to some mischief.  It's a write off weekend for school stuff, so we figure we may as well go all out.  3 days of possible mischievous, sneaky kittens?  We'll see what kind of trouble we can start...

5. FREE STUFF!
Free cookies, free candy, free alcohol.  We'll take it all.  And keep it coming.

Update

We just wanted to pop in and say sorry for the lack of posting! We have been very busy kittens lately and haven't had very many spare moments. However, Halloween is coming up this weekend and we will definitely have an outfit/Halloween post about our costumes. Once this week is over, hopefully we will resume a much more regular posting schedule.
