October To-Do's

With a new month looming, and the year almost (what?) over, we decided to create a list of things we want to accomplish. Like poor little kittens, we have memory spans of about two seconds. So to avoid this problem, we are making a list!

1. Find cheap pattern tights.
2. Do a few DIY projects.
3. Go thrifting for Halloween. 
4. Work out 3 times a week.
5. Celebrate Kitten 2's half birthday.

Possible more to come, but we are having a memory lapse.

Favourite Pieces

So I'm pretty sure most people who are into to fashion, clothes, shoes, etc know about the amazing-ness of Polyvore. It's a site that I really enjoy browsing for new ideas and pieces. I love creating my own sets as well. I thought it would be fun to post a set on the blog that described my style. Pieces that I'm smitten (haha) with and things that make me happy.

A big thing with me is floral, I love it so much. Kitten 2 is always given me crap about having too much of it. But I love it so! I also really love my Dr. Martens, they go with anything and are great for extra rainy weather. Finally, I am a big fan of leotards and black. Together, it is the most perfect combination.
I am going to have Kitten 2 make one of these as well!

Crazy Hair

Can we talk about how I much I am in love with brightly coloured hair?

 On Sunday, Kitten 2 and I dyed my hair. I was really feeling a teal colour and ended up having to buy a green and blue to mix. I used Special Effects and the results were fab. (I will post some pics soon).
I am in love the outcome of it.


It kinda resembles a peacock's feathers and surprisingly, the entire process didn't damage my hair. I can't wait to try more colours....I think my next may be lilac or a deep purple.

An Introduction

Welcome to Smitten Kittens, where we will tell you about Our Favourite Things.  There are two writers for this site, Kitten 1 and Kitten 2.
